Nature's Kiss Valerian Root Essential Oil is a high altitude variety and contains more effective components when compared to valerian root that is grown in lower altitudes. The high altitude variety contains more valeptorates, which gives it it's therapeutic effects. The aroma is of medium strength and is earthly, and slightly sweet with a bottom note. Typically, due to the scent it is not used in the perfume industry.
